    The clips that were prepared during Free2Choose-Create Seminar Istanbul

    are on YouTube

    The first clip  deals with the highly controversial and derogatory comments made in the aftermath of a destructive earthquake on the 23rd of October 2011 by the well-known TV presenter Mugle Anli. After presenting their interviewees with Anli’s remarks they posited the question: Do you believe discriminatory remarks should be allowed in the media?

     

     

    The second clip focuses on an article in the Turkish newspaper Şok. The newspaper reported in a degrading manner about two American brothers who are twins and the sex-operation one of the brothers has undergone to become a woman. Having given people the background they asked: Should it be allowed for media to report in a derogatory manner about LGBT-people?
